ABS gaffer, Kabiru Sulaiman Dogo, has declared that Sunday’s 2-0 victory over Bayelsa United has injected them with a healthy dose of confidence ahead of subsequent fixtures, SuperSport.com reports.
Without a point in three matches against Lobi Stars, Kano Pillars and Wikki Tourists, respectively, Dogo’s side played like trojans and earned maximum points in front of an excited crowd that included club sponsor, Senator Bukola Saraki.
“We had to win because of our tight situation. ABS was 19th on the log ahead of the match. The players played well and scored two great goals against a tough side like Bayelsa United,” Dogo said.
