Boluwatife Balogun is delighted to be promoted to the B team of Barcelona following his impressive performance for the Juvenil A squad of the Spanish club.
He is presently in Paris, France warming up for the new season but will return to La Masia latest Sunday for the start of pre-season training ahead of Barcelona's trip to the United States to participate in the International Champions Cup.
''I performed very well last season, which is why I am invited to join Barcelona B team. I will say I performed 90 percent but, I was faced with some injuries,'' Boluwatife Balogun said to News24.
''My plan for next season is to make my senior debut for Barcelona. I want to win all the trophies we play for.''
Certainly, one player that will not be returning to Barcelona next season is the talented winger Bobby Adekanye, who completed his move to Liverpool on Wednesday.
''No, he didn't ask me for advice before he moved to Liverpool, he was in Holland before the move.
''Of course, I wish him success at Liverpool,'' Balogun added.
The attacking midfielder has been on the books of Barcelona for the past three years.
