Lagos - Cameroonian import, Raphael Boumsong, has joined the race for the goal king award in Nigeria’s Glo Premier League with six goals for his Maiduguri-based team, El-Kanemi Warriors, Supersport.com reports.
The Cameroonian is five goals behind top scorer, Dele Olorundare and three behind Warri Wolves’ Oghenekaro Etebo, who has scored nine goals. Both strikers top the chart after 21 matches.
Scouted at Chadian champions, Gazelle, Boumsong joined the newly promoted side during the Week 9 transfer window and scored his first goal in Nigeria against Sharks on Matchday 14.
