Brace hero Onyedikachi dedicates brace to God

22 June 2015, 08:12

Abuja - Ifeanyi Ubah FC consolidated themselves in third place in the Nigeria Professional Football League on Sunday, with an impressive 4-1 thrashing of Elkanemi Warriors, with young winger Bright Onyedikachi scoring twice.

The ambitious team now has 23 points from 13 games, three points less than table toppers Sunshine Stars, who demolished Kano Pillars 3-0 in Akure.

“It was an important game for us,” said the skillful Onyedikachi in a chat with News24 shortly after the match.”

“We worked hard for the victory and I must say my performance is a result of hardwork and dedication. I dedicate the brace to God,” he added. Another outstanding component of the match was Solomon Eludi, who also bagged a brace for his team.

A wonderful goal from Bright Onyedikachi, his second of the afternoon capped a brilliant performance for the visitors, before Mustapha Ibrahim pulled a goal back for the Borno Army.
