Bright Osayi-Samuel focused on pre-season training with Blackpool

21 July 2015, 11:02

Abuja - Blackpool starlet Bright Osayi-Samuel is not thinking about speculation linking him with a move away from Bloomfield Road before the close of the transfer window and he is focused on pre-season training.

The 18-year-old has featured in The Tangerines first two pre-season fixtures before Monday morning's trip to Scotland for a week-long training camp.

Osayi-Samuel was a second half substitute in Blackpool's 3 - 1 win against non-league side Lancaster City before manager Neil McDonald brought him  into the team that took on Blyth Spartans.

''We are going to Scotland on Monday and I'll be with the team,'' Osayi-Samuel said to news24.com.

''I have played two pre-season friendlies with the first team and I've done extremely well in both games.''

The Anglo - Nigerian, who has committed his international future to the Super Eagles, has been offered fresh terms by Blackpool but he has been  mulling over the proposal.

Osayi-Samuel played 6 games in the Championship during the 2014 - 2105 campaign.
