Cairo - The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has set
a December 31 deadline to clubs, including four Nigerian sides that will
partake at the Champions League and Confederation Cup in 2014 for the
submission of team list.
Glo Nigerian Premier League champions Kano Pillars and runners
up Enyimba will represent Nigeria in the CAF Champions League, while Bayelsa
United and Warri Wolves will play in the Confederation Cup.
According to report on its website, CAF also gave a November
30 deadline to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and all member associations
to confirm their clubs’ engagement in the interclub competitions for 2014.
The application, which should be sent via mail, fax or
e-mail must be accompanied by an application letter and the admission fee of
N45 000 ($300).
