Moscow - Ahmed Musa is not an injury worry ahead of
Nigeria's African Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania in Dar es Salaam on
In the closing stages of the UEFA Champions League tie
against Sporting Lisbon on Wednesday, Musa was stretchered off the field
injured after a rash challenge by Portugal international Joao Mário.
On Thursday morning, the Super Eagles striker underwent
tests to ascertain the extent of the injury and the doctors gave him a clean
bill of health to resume training.

It means Ahmed Musa is in line to play his sixth straight
game in the Russian Premier League this season against Kuban' Krasnodar on
Sunday if he is not rested by manager Leonid Slutsky.
Across all competitions, the 22 - year - old has been
involved in 87 goals in 176 games since he moved to Europe in 2010 from Kano
He is one of the six strikers based overseas selected by
Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh for the AFCON qualifying tie against Tanzania.For
