Also, former Super Eagles skipper, Nwankwo Kanu, who helped
Nigeria to its only Olympics gold medal win in football, way back at the
Atlanta ’96 Olympics is present to motivate the team.

of the best national teams in the world. Sultry voiced R&B top act, Dare
Art Alade, was also on ground to give support to the national team, donning his
green and white national colours ahead of Saturday’s duel. He was even at the
last training session to ginger the team.
Eagles Media Officer, Ben Alaiya, quotes Assistant Coach Dan
‘The Bull’ Amokachi as saying that there are many more music and Nollywood
stars who are already in the city just for the World Cup qualifier and the team
appreciates their support and will not disappoint. “Certainly, we won’t disappoint them and
Nigerians”, he said.
