London - Arsenal loanee Chuba Akpom will be returning to the
KC Stadium full of confidence ahead of this weekend's Championship clash
against Sheffield Wednesday, after scoring on his debut for the England U21s.
The player, who recently turned 20, marked his debut for the
England U21s with a debut goal at Coventry on Tuesday night, firing home a
close range effort in the closing minutes as the Three Lions secured a 3-0 win
over Kazakhstan in a UEFA European U21 Championship Group 9 qualifying fixture.

Akpom's goal in stoppage time, after he was set up by
Wolves' Anglo - Nigerian defender Dominic Iorfa, means he has registered his
name on the score sheet for all the England teams he has represented apart from
the Under 16 side.
Cumulatively, the attacker has appeared 40 times for the
youth teams of England - U16, U17, U19, U20 and U21 and hit target 18 times, an average of 0.45
goals per game in the colors of the national team.
For all Hull City, where is on loan until the end of this
season, the Hale End Academy product, has recorded two goals in 12 games across
Chuba Akpom previously enjoyed loan spells at Brentford,
Coventry City and Nottingham Forest prior to his move to The Tigers in the
first week of August.For
