Accra - Flying Eagles coach Manu Garba, and his Ghanaian counterpart Silas Tetteh have hailed the Nigerian team for a 2-0 victory over their west African opponent in the second of two friendly games between both sides.
Ghana and Nigeria had played a 2-2 draw in the first friendly on Monday before the Garba led side secured a 2-0 win in the second game on Wednesday.
“We had a much better second half after our pep talk at half time. It was also a better performance for my team than what we showed in the first match,” Garba said.
“Ghana too are a very good team and I tip them to go past Group B at the AYC.”

Ghana Black Satellites coach Tetteh said the Flying Eagles are a very good team who gave his side a very good test.
“They are a compact team who showed very good understanding meaning they have been playing together for some time now. It was good to play against such a team,” he said.
“But despite the fact that we lost, we also gave a good account of ourselves as we finalise our preparations for the championship.”For the latest on national news, politics, sport, entertainment and more follow us on Twitter and like our Facebook page.
