Lagos - The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Technical Committee members are
at each other’s throat over the candidature of Delta Queens coach,
Peter Dedevbo as the new helmsman of the Falconets, Supersport.com reports.
The altercation is holding back the naming of coaches for the women's national teams early scheduled for Monday.
Supersport.com gathered authoritatively that the members who
disapproved the candidature of the former coach of the Flamingoes
pointed to his alleged failures with the Nigerian Under-17 in previous
two Fifa Under-17 World Cups in 2010 in Trinidad & Tobago and in
2012 in Azerbaijan as well as the dismal outing in 2007 Fifa Women’s
World Cup in China as an assistant to coach Ntiero Effiom.
