Lagos - Former Nasarawa United coach Alphonsus Dike has said the recent suspension of the side's supporters' club chairman, Salisu Ataking Bashiru, on alleged fraudulent practice has freed him of any wron doing following the side's performance in the 2012/13 Glo Premier season, Supersport.com reports.
The former Enugu Rangers coach's contract with the Lafia-based side was terminated together with that of assistant Adamu Usman's due to series of poor results.
The Solid Miners were in 18th position in the 20-team Glo Premier League when Dike was shown the exit door. His successor, Kadiri Ikhana, helped the side survive relegation, finishing the season in 13th spot.
