Port Harcourt - Coach of Dolphins FC of Port Harcourt, Stanley Eguma, on Monday commended five players who made their debut for the team in a week 22 Glo Premier league match against Abia Warriors.
Even though the match played at the Liberation Stadium Port Harcourt ended 1-1, Eguma, he was full of praises for the fighting spirit exhibited by the debuting players.
"I must commend my players, especially, the new players that made their debut for the team. They displayed fighting spirit and gave a good account of themselves.
"My team played well, in spite of what I perceive to be bad officiating. I was not too comfortable with some of the calls made by the referee, but we are okay with the outcome of the match,’’ he said.
Isiaka Olawale scored for Dolphins in the 19th minute while former Dolphins player, Bolaji Sarkin, equalised for Abia Warriors in the 30th minute.

"We used that tactics to approach the match and it paid off for us,’’ he said.
Dolphins have 21 points at the end of match day 22 and 18th on the league table.
