Former Nigerian goalkeeper, Dosu Joseph has said Super Eagles' shot-stopper, Austin Ejide will not be a useful player for Afcon 2013.
The Israeli-based goalkeeper cupped a hamstring injury in the friendly against Cape Verde and has been given a two-week recovery period by the medics to pass the fitness test for the biennial football showpiece.
Dosu said though Ejide is rated among the best safe hands in the land it will be risky to gamble with him at the Africa Cup of Nations.
said that within two weeks Nigeria would have played two of their matches and there
would be no sense in keeping Ejide if there is capable replacement.
