Abuja - One of the seven players dropped by coach Edwin Okon
from the camp of the Super Falcons, Lilian Tule has expressed gratitude to the
coaches for inviting her to the national camp for the very first time.
Tule alongside Joy Anthony Ajah, Edith Eduviere, Elizebeth
Zirike, Chinyere Igboamalu, Humble Nelson and Abosede Torila were released as
the coach assembles a formidable team.
"I did not know I will be called to the camp of the
Super Falcons this early in my career. I am happy and grateful for this opportunity
to experience first-hand what being in camp is all about”, Tule said.
“I will continue to pray for the team to do well and win the
Africa Women Championship (AWC) and also to make us proud at the world
stage" The Taraba Angels midfielder added.
Okon is expected to drop more players in the coming days.
