Abuja - The Golden Eaglets have arrived in Uyo to continue their preparation for the FIFA Under-17 World Cup to take place in the United Arab Emirates in October.
A squad of thirty players arrived in Uyo on Sunday while Eaglets coach Garba Manu, the team's secretary Tayo Egbaiyelo and the team's captain Musa Mohammed attended the official World Cup draw.
Team officials said the move to Uyo was decided on in order to avoid any distractions.
"It is part of our obligation to provide the enabling environment for the Golden Eaglets to have their training sessions without any hindrance at any given time," affirmed Dr. Emmanuel Ikpeme.
