Ankara - Nigeria international striker, Emmanuel Emenike has astonishingly declared that his three-month goal drought was a result of a curse placed on him, SuperSport reports.
Emenike went almost three months without scoring for Fenerbahçe in Turkey’s Süper Lig and claims bad luck was to blame for his lack of proficiency in front of goal.
The Super Eagles attacker spoke to Turkish newspaper, Milliyet about the situation claiming that “something is wrong.”

“My energy is not right, something is wrong, I just need a goal to get back to form,” Emenike said.
The former Spartak Moscow striker subsequently underwent a ritual called ‘Kur_un Dökme’ apparently to “remove the curse.”
Remarkably Emenike scored his first league goal since November 2, 2014 shortly after he reportedly underwent the ‘Kur_un Dökme.’
