Enyimba coach unhappy after Akwa loss

18 September 2014, 15:29

Lagos - Enyimba technical adviser Kadiri Ikhana is an unhappy man following the side's narrow defeat at Akwa United in Wednesday’s Glo Premier League match day 26 encounter at the Uyo Township Stadium, SuperSport reports.

Kufre Ebong's lone goal in added time of the first half proved adequate to hand the Promise Keepers the maximum points.

Ikhana said his wards played to the gallery, and did not come to the party to warrant a victory in the encounter.

“I’m disappointed with the way the players played mostly in the first half, instead of coming out to attack they surprisingly sat back and that wasn’t our game plan for today’s (Wednesday) game. We practically refused to come out and play in the first half and it caused us this needless defeat.
