Enyimba favourites to extend Glo Premiership lead

Lagos - Glo Premier Soccer League leaders, Enyimba, look certain to extend their lead when they meet 13th positioned El-Kanemi Warriors on Sunday.

Closest rivals, Warri Wolves, will however be keen to maintain their chase when they travel to ninth-placed Abia Warriors.

Enyimba lead the Glo Nigeria Premier League with 55 points from 29 games.

Wolves are breathing heavily down their necks on 51 points from the same number of games played.

In other matches, Giwa FC will be hosting Sharks, Dolphins entertain second from bottom FC Taraba while third-placed Wikki Tourists will fight it out with bottom-placed Bayelsa United.

Elsewhere, Heartland host Lobi Stars, 3SC entertain Akwa United, Nasarawa United engage Rangers, Kwara United take on Sunshine Stars while FC Ifeanyiubah will battle out with Kano Pillars.

All matches kick off at 17h00.

There are nine rounds of matches to be played.
