Aba - Enyimba will miss the services of their striker,
Christian Obiozor for the next four weeks, the club has announced.
Obiozor hit the ground running at Enyimba since he left the
Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) defending champions, Kano Pillars.
The former non-league team, Fame FC player, Obiozor has
always been an impact in all the clubs he has been. He helped Fame FC to the last sixteen in the
2012 Federation Cup, got an invite to the Super Eagles, completed a move to
Enugu Rangers then he showed glances of a striker that will deliver at Kano
Pillars, but that relationship didn't last long, as he later moved to Enyimba
where he's the highest scorer with six goals at the people's Elephant.
Obiozor picked the injury during the Oriental derby of July
19 in Enugu and latest information from the club after further scans has
revealed that the damaged left cruciate ligament will take more time to heal
and that will take another four weeks.
According to the club, team doctor Ferdinand Ajere has
confirmed the 20-year-old will be out for four weeks and may be available for
selection half way into the month of September against El-Kanemi Warriors. For
