'Enyimba will surprise everybody at Copa Lagos'

Lagos - Enyimba goalkeeper, Femi Thomas has stated that the Aba based side will surprise a lot of people during this year’s Copa Lagos.

Thomas who is resting in Lagos after a hectic season in the Nigeria Premier League and is waiting for for the Beach Soccer event in December noted that the players of the club will shock all the people who will come to watch them at the Eko Atlantic Beach.

“We understand that there are a lot of rules guiding the tournament, but I am so sure we are going to do our best in the tournament.

“It is our first time, but we intend to make it worthwhile. We expect our supporters to come and watch us and we will not fail to justify the confidence reposed in us.

“Sincerly speaking, it will be fun to participate in this event where you also have music and other activities,” Thomas said.

Enyimba will come against Pepsi Selected side, Stationery Stores and Barcelona Beach Soccer Team from December 12-14 at the Eko Atlantic Beach in Lagos.
