Abuja - Kwara United wing-dazzler Chukwudi Esobe is a happy man after his
recent invitation to the Dream Team VI squad.
It would be recalled that Nigeria U-23 National Team handler Samson Siasia
released a 30-man list on Friday, October 10, for the forthcoming CAF U-23
Championship in Senegal.
The Harmony Boys winger who was impressive in his team's 2-1 loss to Lobi Stars
on Sunday said it is a dream come true to be worthy of a call-up to the U-23
“I am delighted to cut the attention of the U-23 technical crew because there
are plenty of good players in the country”
“I want to thank my team (Kwara United), for the opportunity given to me to
play at the Premier League level.”

“I will try my best to make the final list because I know it is going to be
tough but since getting here is tough, am sure to finish the job will also be
something I must work hard for,” he said.
“I want to thank my teammates too because they are part of making this
possible, if not for them I may not have gotten this opportunity.”
“I hope the experience I gain from the national team will further assist me in
my career,” Esobe said.
The Harmony Boys playmaker is optimistic that his team will beat the drop and
retain its status in the league.
“We want to put in our best in the remaining league games to make sure we
remain in the top flight division at the end of current campaign.”
“You can see from our last two away games that we narrowly lost, so am sure we
will grind something out in our two remaining away games even as we are sure of
winning our three homes games,” he added.
