Rome - Ghana defender, Michael Essien will be out of
competitive football action for at least two weeks following a thigh injury.
Essien was substituted for compatriot Sulley Muntari at half
time in AC Milan’s win over Chievo last Saturday where he played the remainder
of the match.
Milan announced on Thursday that the defender “sustained an
injury to the semimembranosus of his right thigh” during the game.
