FC Porto vs Bayern fact file

Porto - Factfile on FC Porto and Bayern Munich ahead of the Champions League quarter-final, first leg tie on Wednesday:

Form: Porto enjoyed a 3-1 league win at Rio Ave on Saturday to leave them second to Benfica in Portugal's top flight.

Ricardo Quaresma converted a penalty and Danilo, who will join Real Madrid next season, netted first-half goals while Hernani scored their third in the dying stages.

Porto lost 2-1 at CS Maritimo in the Portuguese League Cup semi-finals on April 2 and two of their four defeats this season have been at the hands of the Madeira side.

Bayern have dominated the German league this season and have a ten-point lead over their nearest rivals, Wolfsburg.

Pep Guardiola's Bavarian giants have suffered just two defeats on the domestic front, including a 2-0 loss at home to Borussia Moenchengladbach on March 22.

Despite a lengthy injury list, Bayern romped to a 3-0 league win at home to Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday with Poland striker Robert Lewandowski scoring twice to leave him with nine goals in his last eight league games.
