Ottawa - Falconets striker Asisat Oshoala has hailed her
teammates for a job well done after a 4-1 victory over New Zealand in the
quarter final of the 2014 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Canada on Sunday.
Oshoala scored two goals in the first half before substitute
Uchechi Sunday got another brace after the break.
Oshoala, who has now scored three goals and won the Most
Valuable Player award on Sunday, said the effort and contribution of her
teammates on the pitch made her score two goals.
"I must commend my coach and teammates for giving me
the opportunity to play up front. That gave me the chance to show case my
