Abuja - As part of preparations for the FIFA U-20 Women's
world cup in August, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has lined up series
of friendly matches for the Falconets.
The U-20 women's team is set to play a friendly match
against the Black Princess of Ghana come Saturday 24th May, 2014 in Abuja.
Head coach Peter Dedevbo says the match will assist towards
enhancing the performance of the players.
"I will use the opportunity to pick the best players
that will make the world cup squad.”
Having made six appearances at the FIFA U -20 women's world
cup, the Falconets coach says the technical crew are working to improve the
team performance in Canada.
"Trainings are focused on skills development, ball
control and goal target.”
