Ottawa - The Falconets have qualified for the final of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup after a resounding 6-2 victory over Korea in the semifinal.
Asisat Oshoala scored four goals, with Courtney Dike and Uchechi Sunday adding to the tally.
It was Dike who again scored an early goal with just two minutes of action in Moncton. Oshoala then doubled the score for Nigeria in the 24th minute before Korea’s Un Sim managed to cancel one goal in the 36th minute to end the first half at 2-1.

After the break, substitute Sunday hit the back of the net in the 55th minute as Oshoala grabbed her second goal in the 60th minute before So Yon scored Korea’s second goal two minutes later.
Oshoala would go on to score two more goals in the 68th and 85th minutes to ensure Nigeria record a massive 6-2 victory.
Falconets will now face Germany in the final on Sunday.
