Lagos - Nigeria's national U17 women’s team, the Flamingoes, will depart on a training tour to Portugal on Friday.
A delegation of the team made up
25 players and nine officials are expected to embark on the trip.
They will spend three weeks in Faro training before
heading to Costa Rica for the World Cup.
Nigeria is placed in Group D alongside Mexico, Colombia and
China People’s Republic.
