Abuja - The Minister of Sports, Bolaji Abdullahi, has stated
that a foreign assistant will not be imposed on Stephen Keshi ahead of Nigeria's
participation in the 2014 Fifa World Cup.
Some stakeholders including former Super Eagles coach, Austin
Eguavoen, has recently suggested that a foreign technical assistant may be
needed to help Keshi excel at the World Cup.
The suggestion has however attracted wide condemnation from
football pundits and fans alike.
Abdulahi said hiring an additional hand to the Super Eagles
technical crew is at the sole discretion of Keshi.
