Lagos - Former Super Eagles stars Victor Agali and Taribo West have hailed the beauty of the new Akwa Ibom stadium in Uyo.
Both players were speaking on Friday at the commissioning of the new edifice.
“We are proud of what we see here today, if we have two or three more of this, we can host Africa and even the world.” Said Agali who scored five goals in 12 appearances for Nigeria.

On his part, West said the pitch will encourage players to give their best.
“The grass is something that will give you the energy to give your best on the pitch. This is truly a lovely piece,” West said.
President Goodluck Jonathan will declare the facility open before home based Super Eagles host Ghana in an international friendly by 6pm local time.
