Lagos - Thompson Oliha, a former Super Eagles star and a member of the victorious Super Eagle team that won the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations, has passed away.
Oliha, who also played for several clubs in Africa and Europe, apparently passed away early Sunday morning, Osun Defender reports.
At the time of his death, Oliha was a coach at the Kwara State Football Academy in Ilorin. He retired at the age of 27 because of a serious knee injury.
He is one of three members of the much revelled 1994 Nigerian team, along with Uche Okafor and Rashidi Yekini.
