Lagos - Eric Frimpong is not the top scorer at Bayelsa United, but with eight assists this year, the younger brother of former Ghanaian international and Enyimba striker, Joetex Frimpong, is making his mark as the Assist King, Supersport reports.
After an unexciting second spell at modest Tunisian side, Club Sportif Hammalif, Frimpong's representative decided it was time to relaunch his career, in Nigeria.
Ironically, Frimpong struggled to convince Bayelsa United faithful due to inactivity following his exit from Tunisia, but has since become a favourite with his dazzling runs along the flanks like a gazelle and tailor made pull-outs.
