Calabar - Gabonese U-17 official, Owono Essono, has admitted that he lost to superior side after the Golden Eaglets overturned a 2-1 loss to seal the qualification for Niger 2015 with a 5-0 win in the return leg played in Calabar.
Among the goals for Nigeria on Saturday were the duo of Ebere Osinachi and Kehinde Ayinde who scored a brace each after Captain Kelechi Nwakali had grabbed the curtain raiser through a penalty.

"It was a very good game but we actually came here with the mind to play well. Our team is young and it was difficult for them to play here because it was difficult to play against Nigeria here.” Essono said.
"Nigeria is one of the best teams in Africa and I want to say that we lost to a good team. I want to wish Nigeria luck at the classification in Niger because we know Nigeria is in the best position to go to the African Cup and Good luck to Nigeria," he stated.Nigeria qualified for the 2015 CAF U17 Championship on a 6-2 aggregate.
