Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town have announced the transfer of Nigerian striker George Akpabio to National First Division champions Chippa United.
The 21-year-old had been unsettled at Ikamva since returning from his loan spell with the Chilli Boys, where he ended last season as top scorer for the club with 11 goals to help them seal the NFD title.
Chippa declared their interest in retaining the services of the marksman, and the Urban Warriors have confirmed they have finally accepted their offer.

"There have been a lot of speculation over the last few months with regards to George's situation and we can finally announce that all the parties have agreed to terms for his transfer," Ari Efstathiou said in a statement issued by the club.
"I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of Ajax Cape Town, to wish George all the success in his future endeavours and have no doubt that his limited time at Ajax Cape Town will add to his success." he added.
Akpabio joined Ajax from Plateau United during the 2012 January transfer window and was loaned out to Vasco da Gama as well as Chippa as the side did not have foreign space available.
