Abuja - With
reports suggesting that Nigeria international, John Obi Mikel, 28, has consent
to personal terms with UAE club, Al Ain, Ghana international, Asamoah Gyan has
expressed keen interest to play alongside the Chelsea midfielder.
Obi Mikel, an integral part of the Super Eagles has not enjoyed starters action
at Chelsea and has informed his interest to make a move away from the London
club. Gyan who is currently holidaying in Ghana did share his expectation about
the likely arrival of Chelsea's John Obi Mikel at the Garden City club.

Obi Mikel joined Chelsea in 2006 after he lead Nigeria's U20 team, Flying
Eagles to the 2005 FIFA U20 World Cup. He made his first start for the Blues in
a UEFA Champions League match against Levski Sofia and he has gone nine years
at the London club.
