Glo PL wrap: Hat-tricks rain in Week 15

Abuja - Glo Premier League action continued on Sunday as the remaining Week 15 games were played in various centres across the country. We bring you a quick review of the scores.

Gombe United put up a resurgent performance as they battled from two goals down to hold Enugu Rangers to a 3-3 draw in the game played at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in spite of a hat-trick from Osagona Ighodaro.

Warri Wolves were also held to a home draw by visiting Sharks FC as a second half strike from Tayo Fabiyi helped the Blue Angels steal a point away from home.

New entrants Giwa FC recorded the biggest result of the day as they beat visiting Kaduna United 4-0 at the Rwang Pam Stadium in Jos, with Ibrahim Shuaibu bagging a hat-trick.

Enyimba were also big winners as they beat Nembe City 3-0 in Aba.

A late strike from Adamu Hassan helped reigning champions Kano Pillars claim a 2-1 home win over El Kanemi. While Muyiwa Lawal’s late free-kick gave Sunshine Stars a 1-0 home win over Nasarawa United.

Kufre Ubong’s second half strike gave Akwa United a 1-0 home win over Lobi Stars with Governor Goodswill Akpabio watching from the stands.

Former Heartland star Esom Tochukwu came back to haunt his old club as his solitary strike gave FC Taraba a 1-0 home win over the Naze Millionaires. While in Umuahia, Abia Warriors subjected Crown FC to a 3-0 defeat.
