Lagos - Enyimba's Mfon Udoh may see his record of 23 goals
in a season in the Glo Premier League broken if the chase by inform strikers
from Heartland, Giwa FC, Abia Warriors and Sunshine Stars continue to get goals
Heartland FC (Owerri) forward, Bright Ejike has maintained
his goal scoring form as he got yet another goal in Kaduna where the Naze
Millionaires lost 2-1 to Giwa FC (Jos). Ejike has now scored nine goals in the
sixteen weeks old NPFL while Giwa's striker, Shuaibu Ibrahim who had earlier in
the season informed News24 that he's eyeing a 30 goal mark in the NPFL this
term got his eight goal.
The chase for the top scorer this term has been kept healthy
this term; Sunshine Stars striker, Tunde Adeniji who got his team's only goal
in their 1-1 draw in Makurdi against Lobi Stars is tied on seven goals with
skillful Abia Warriors forward, Chisom Elvis Chikatara.

Both Mustapha Ibrahim( El-Kanemi Warriors) and Ocheme Edoh
(Giwa FC) are locked on six goals while
Esosa Igbinoba (Nasarawa United), Adamu Mohammed (Kano Pillars),
Gbolahan Salami (Warri Wolves) and Ndifreke Effiong (Abia Warriors) are on five
Though Mfon Udoh has been missing in Enyimba's line up in as
many games but he still has four goals this term along side Christian Obiozor
whose consistency for the People's Elephant may see him baring any injury or
loss of form rank amongst the top scorers this season.

Taraba), Ubong Ekpai (Kano Pillars), Yusuf Jaiyeola (Sharks), Junior Ajayi
