Glo Premiership enters final lap

Abuja - The Glo Premier League will this weekend enter the home stretch with leaders Enyimba aiming to maintain their lead and pave way for a historic seventh title.

The side needs 11 points from the 15 on offer to claim the title outright but might still need less depending on the form of the chasing pack, especially second-placed Warri Wolves.

Ahead of the game against sixth-placed Nasarawa United, Enyimba are on top with 61 points, five more than Wolves.

Wolves have a date with struggling Akwa United.

Other matches lined up for Sunday include El-Kanemi Warriors hosting Giwa FC, Wikki Tourists battling out with FC Ifeanyiubah and Heartland entertaining Sharks.

Elsewhere, 3SC take on FC Taraba while the bottom of the log battle between Kwara United and Bayelsa United will sure be action packed.

Abia Warriors host Lobi Stars, Sunshine Stars lock horns with Rangers while Dolphins entertain Kano Pillars in other matches lined up for Sunday.
