Calabar - The Princeville Hotel camp of Nigeria's Under-17, Golden Eaglets in Calabar was thrown into joyous mood on Thursday following the news that the wife of the team's coordinator, Prince Udofia has delivered a bouncing baby girl.
The ebullient Udofia radiating with broad smiles said his adorable wife actually put to bed at a Health Centre in Umuahia, Abia state late Wednesday night.
"I'm so excited because this is cheering news in the midst of everything happening in Nigerian football at present," said the former Akwa Ibom Stars player.

Meanwhile, the Golden Eaglets would tackle Kano-based Dabo Academy on Saturday morning at the University of Calabar's Abraham Ordia Stadium in continuation of their preparation towards the forthcoming 2015 Under-17 African Championship final round, first leg qualifier against Gabon next weekend in Libreville.
"We remain steadfast about our build-up to the game against Gabon and we pray that nothing untoward happens to Nigerian football," Udofia added.
"My prayer is that the arrival of my daughter would usher in peace to Nigerian football and bring more success to our team, Golden Eaglets."
