Guobadia disappointed with Balzan in Europa League qualifier

02 July 2015, 09:05

Abuja - The first qualifying round of the Europa League got underway on Tuesday night with Maltese club Balzan squaring off against Zeljeznicar (Bosnia) at the Hibernians Stadium.

Coach of Balzan, Oliver Spiteri, named Osa Guobadia in his starting X1 but there was no place in the squad for new signing Godwin Mensha as the necessary paperwork that would have enabled him feature in the tie was yet to be completed.

Balzan have a mountain to climb in their bid to progress to the next round following their 2 - 0 loss to the visitors, with Osa Guobadia, wearing the number 50 shirt, going the full 90.
