Abuja - Heartland FC of Owerri on Friday announced coach Kelechi Emeteole as its new technical adviser.
The club made the announcement in a statement in Lagos by its media officer, Cajetan Nkwopara.
The statement said that the management of the club, led by Fan
Ndubuoke, had carefully studied the team and decided to bring in a
seasoned technical adviser, who would lead the technical crew.
It also said that it was part of the ongoing efforts to reposition the team for the coming season.
It further stated that the appointment of Emeteole was with immediate effect.
The statement also confirmed the elevation of Ramson Madu as the
chief coach, Bob Acholonu as the chief trainer and Mangut Mbwas as the
assistant coach of the team.
It added that Emeteole’s reputation as one of Nigeria's prominent
coaches, coupled with his vast experience on the league scene, would
help to manage a formidable team that can emerge winner of the 2013/2014
Globacom Premier League season.
