London - Hope Akpan has reflected on Blackburn Rovers' 2-0
victory over Ipswich Town in the English Championship and believes that their
season will begin to take shape if they continue to churn out such impressive

''To a man everybody did their jobs, everyone was looking
confident and playing well, we were excellent," Akpan told Radio Rovers.
"I think the first half was probably some of the best
football we've played this season.
"But I believe there is more to come, we are not going
to get carried away, we've had a few good results on the road and we've picked
up points at home, but all it can do is give us belief that we can beat the
best sides in this league.''
The Nigeria international, a summer arrival from Reading,
has recorded seven appearances for Blackburn Rovers in the division, featuring
four times off the bench.For
