out as West Bromwich Albion progressed to the League Cup third round on Tuesday,

United 7-6 on penalties after
The Nigeria international striker was making his first start
for West Brom after completing a £10 million move in the summer from Ukrainian
club, Dynamo Kyiv.
With the scores tied at 1-1 after regulation time, it went
down to the lotteries and Ideye, who took West Brom’s second penalty of the day
failed from 12 yards but his miss did not prove fatal.
The Baggies recovered to win 7-6 with Jason Davidson burying
the vital kick.
