Aba - Chasing their seventh Nigeria Professional Football
League (NPFL) tittle, Enyimba has just more six matches between them and the league
The coach of the two time African champions, Kadiri Ikhana
has stated that the end of the season is still very far from conclusion
insisting that the fans may as well predict which club they think will be
crowned champions, but for his club Enyimba, this is the time to work harder
and maintain a 100% focus.
The six time champions of the Nigerian League have been
consistent this season and with just six matches to go till the end of the
season, pundits and fans have predicted that Enyimba have what it takes to be

"The season is still far from conclusion. We still have
six tough matches to go. This stage of the league is the toughest because it
needs maximum concentration,” Ikhana old News24.
"I'm optimistic that we shall pick one more maximum
point on the road before the end of this period but I just have to emphasize
this fact; we have to remain focus till the end of the season. At this stage
we've got teams chasing us from behind and there are teams also trying to avoid
relegation, so it's a tough phase right now,” Ikahan stated.
Enyimba are three points clear at the top of the log with 58
points but closely followed by Warri Wolves with 55 points.

Club to Aba in a week 33 NPFL tie this weekend. In the reverse fixture Enyimba
forced 3SC to share the spoils at the Lekan Salami Stadium but at this stage
both teams need the points as every points earned is valuable.For
