Lagos - Former African Footballer of the Year, Victor Ikpeba, believes Heartland forward, Tochukwu Esom, has the potential to excel as a professional, Supersport.com reports.
Tochukwu started the eternal derby against Enugu Rangers on the bench, but was thrown into the fray by club gaffer, Ndubuisi Nduka, and the forward justified his inclusion with a brilliant goal.
“Tochukwu is a brilliant player. All he needs is to remain focused at all times. He scored a fantastic goal against Rangers and can only get better with hardwork,” Ikpeba said to Supersport.com.
