Kaduna - Midfielder Ifeanyi Ifeanyi is a major injury concern for the Flying Eagles ahead of Saturday’s 2015 African Youth Championship qualifier against Lesotho.
The hard working defensive midfielder suffered a hamstring injury during the team’s last test game against Amakson Academy in Abuja last week.
The combative midfield enforcer did not train with the rest of the squad Monday morning at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna, where the qualifier will be staged.
He was instead taken through his paces by the team’s physiotherapist.
The team’s medical staff will decide on the player’s availability later this week.

Ifeanyi Ifeanyi was part of the squad for the qualifiers against Tanzania.
Former U17 midfield star Abdullahi Alfa also trained with the Flying Eagles on Monday after undergoing trials at Norwegian club Songdal.
Another U20 midfielder Akinjide Idowu rejoined the squad last week after also undergoing trials at Songdal.
Meanwhile, the grass pitch at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium is lush green with only the need to cut the grass to reduce the heaviness of the pitch.
