Lagos - Antalyaspor forward Isaac Promise says he is shocked by in-form Michael Eneramo's snub by Nigeria as a replacement for injured Emmanuel Emenike, KickOffNigeria.com reports.
Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi picked Werder Bremen striker Joseph Akpala ahead of Eneramo for the injured Emenike in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers as well as the Fifa Confederations Cup in Brazil all happening in June.
"Eneramo has always been a good goal scorer and consistent. I was surprised he was not called at last for Eagles.
"He has done well scoring goals for Sivasspor," Turkey-based Promise told a Lagos radio station.
