28 July 2015, 10:01

Abuja -  Warri Wolves striker Kelvin Itoya has stated that he and his teammates have what it takes to defeat Kwara United in a rescheduled Nigeria Professional Football League match.

The Seasiders head into Wednesday's match facing a rebranded side at the Kwara State Stadium.

“What people say does not bother me. We are very motivated,” commented Itoya on the role the away side will likely take.

“There are some matches played since I arrived here we were not favourites and we won… This is a very important match.

“In any game we can beat them, we are unafraid and unapologetic.

“They have looked good and organised in recent times. Honestly, with all due respect, I do not care what happens about that them. I care what happens in our team.

“We have shown that we can play in tough situation. We have paid dearly for previous mistakes, we know we have to stay focused for the whole game.

Wolves are 4th on the 20-team table with 32 points from a possible 54.
