London - Jordon Ibe has high hopes of impressing Liverpool
manager Brendan Rodgers during the club's pre - season training in his bid to
cement his place in the first team.
The England youth international put in a good display in The
Reds 2 – 0 win over Adelaide United, creating an assist for new signing James
Milner in the 67th minute.

''Football is about chances," Jordon Ibe said to
LFCTour.com. "Raheem is a great player but hopefully now I will get a
chance to play and prove to the manager that I can play in the Premier League.
''I'm enjoying playing on the wing with Nathaniel and all of
the new players have done well, and they have obviously got a few goals as
A winger by trade, Ibe was loaned out to Derby County at the
start of last season but was recalled in the January transfer window after
impressing at The Rams.
The 19-year-old appeared 12 times for Liverpool in the
Premier League over the course of last season.
