Kano - It's going to be a battle between the first and third
teams on the league table when Sunshine Stars host Kano Pillars in the Nigeria
Professional Football League (NPFL) on Sunday June 21 in a week 13 tie.
Kano Pillars FC who have won the League trophy twice in a
row and are currently third on the League log will be aiming to overrun table
toppers, Sunshine Stars FC.
Former El-Kanemi Warriors defender, Reuben Ogbonnaya who
joined Kano Pillars this season in a chat to News24 on Friday maintained a high
confidence that Pillars will stun Akure fans this weekend, insisting that their
lowest performance on the day should earn them a point while their best is enough
to earn a win.

Reuben Ogbonnaya who picked an injury against Warri Wolves
in Warri said: "Sure there is hope because its football, anything can
happen. They (Sunshine Stars) narrowly won against Warri Wolves in week
12," Ogbonnaya told News24.
“I believe we can get at least one out of three points if we
play badly. But if we play well and use our chances I am sure three points will
be ours." Ogbonnaya said confidently.
